The London Company is seeking a Portfolio Administrator who works well in a team environment as well as independently on assignments. Key criteria for success include a highly energetic, tech-savvy, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, and adaptable/responsive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the client onboarding process and communication between the client, advisor and custodian
  • Daily reconciliation of portfolio transactions and positions from data files and Fund Administrator reports.
  • Assist with trade settlement issues
  • Facilitate HNW client cash movement requests, client gift requests and gift letters
  • Communicate with Portfolio Managers on new account funding, additional account deposits and withdrawal requests to ensure timely investment or liquidation of client assets
  • Communicate directly with clients, consultants, and industry professionals, providing high quality customer service
  • Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly external and internal reports
  • Execute an array of client reports and questionnaires
  • Prepare client meeting books
  • Process new accounts, changes/updates and Client Portal communication
  • Process Account Terminations
  • Assist in the GIPS verification process.
  • Assist in the monitoring and processing of corporate actions
  • Maintain all pertinent client information and client files in CRM system and document management system
  • Adapt and adjust to technological changes
  • Share responsibility with team for auditing system data and maintaining overall data integrity
  • Update and maintain department policies and procedures
  • Adhere to Company and Industry Compliance regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and confidential issues

Qualifications, Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics preferred
  • Five+ years of experience in the investment management business or related fields
  • Institutional and/or HNW client contact
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Strong analytical mindset comfortable with daily processing deadlines
  • Ability to perform technical, specialized and complex work using independent judgment as well as multi-task efficiently
  • Ability to understand detailed work instructions and manage multiple daily priorities, completing assignments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Knowledge of SS&C Advent Software products and Salesforce a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint. .
  • Concentration in technology utilization for automating and increasing efficiency
  • SQL, SSRS reports, and FactSet skills a plus
  • Willingness to learn and/or develop new procedures when needed
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
